  • Can I bring a sibling to the classes?

  • How do I make a payment?
You pay using our 'Book Online' tab in the main menu. Credit and debit cards are accepted. Once payment has been received, your spot will be confirmed via email.
  • How long are the classes?
Classes run for 30 minutes. We have found this is the perfect amount of time for little ones to remain engaged and happy. There is an opportunity to chat and reflect between classes as they don't run back to back, meaning you don't have to rush off.
  • Can I bring food to class?
Due to allergies that many young ones can have, we ask that you do not open food during the half hour class. We appreciate your support with this. Of course formula, milk and breast feeding is absolutely okay before, during, and after class.
  • Can I bring along our ukulele from home?
Please do! If you have a ukulele for your child at home, please bring it along and we can assist in tuning your instrument (if you need help!) and you can use this instead of a class instrument if you wish.
  • What if we miss a class?
String & Bow Music won't be able to offer make up classes if a class is missed. If more than two class are missed due to illness, contact us to discuss options.
  • When is the next available class?
2024: We are currently not running classes. Please make sure you subscribe to our website and follow us on socials to hear updates.
  • Where are your classes held?
In the fabulous studio space at Elsternwick Park Tennis Centre: 464 St Kilda Street, Brighton VIC, 3186. Great parking, cafe on premisis and toilets with room for pram.
  • What precautions are you taking due to COVID-19?
We will be conducting our classes in accordance with current Government directions, guidelines and medical advice to ensure our classes continue to operate as safely as possible.
  • What if my child falls asleep prior to the beginning of class?
NO probs! Our classes are well worth attending even if your bub is asleep. You will be able to listen to and learn songs that you can sing at home with your child. You can practice playing instruments, such as the ukulele and pick up many tips and tricks for enjoying music at home with your child. This class is just as much about developing your skills and repertoire! So take advantage no matter what.
